Shivvers is proud to deliver industry-leading grain drying technology that’s flexible enough to adapt to your operation’s specific challenges. But we also pride ourselves on helping you fine-tune your Complete Performance System even further, offering accessories with convenience and efficiency in mind.

Slide Gate Opener

Conventional slide gates can be more difficult to open with the extra weight of dried grain. The slide gate opener circumvents this problem by adding a lever to open the slide gate in the center basket, allowing for more efficient leverage. The slide gate opener is available in 6” and 8” diameters.

Floor Door

The floor door allows easy access to the plenum area of your bin. Install a floor door over the unload auger hanger bearing for quick and easy access during maintenance. Or place a floor door near the bin’s center sump for easier under floor cleaning. With its open area design, you can install multiple floor doors throughout your drying bin without hindering air flow for the counter-flow drying process.

Clean-Out Door

Another door accessory for your bin’s plenum area, the clean-out door can be added as a way to quickly clear out any remaining fines from under the drying floor. Ensuring a clean plenum area results in maintaining a better airflow through the floor for grain drying. These doors are available in both 12- and 15-inch designs to fit most bins’ plenum areas.

Intermediate Well

The intermediate well is an additional gravity flow outlet for horizontal unloads. Along with the center well, an intermediate well speeds up bin unloading across all Shivvers Circu-Lator and Dri-Flo systems. Models are available in 6- and 8-inch sizes.

Bin Stiffeners

It’s only natural that grain bins wear down under years of constant cycling between wet and dry grain. Shivvers offers bin reinforcements for standard duty or older grain bins to help you extend their life span. With this extra support, bins that would otherwise need to be replaced could instead be used as a wet holding or drying bin.

Roof Vents

During the counter-flow drying process, a large column of heated air is blown up through the grain, resulting in moisture-laden air exiting towards the roof of the bin. Strategically placed roof vents allows saturated air to be exhausted from the drying bin to prevent condensation on the inside of the roof.

Belt Shield

Shivvers designed the belt shield to ensure safety and offer easy access to the belts and jaw clutch for routine maintenance.
