History

In 1968, Charles Shivvers, founder of Shivvers Manufacturing, created the tapered sweep auger, which became the basis for the first commercially successful Continuous Counter-Flow Grain Drying System.  Shivvers Manufacturing transformed the industry again in 1984 with the development of the COMPU-DRY™, the first computerized control unit for drying grain. Today, Shivvers leads the world in automated Continuous Counter-Flow Grain Drying Systems.

Shivvers remains a family owned and operated business with Carl Shivvers as President. Shivvers is committed to providing innovative equipment that provides real value for their customers and is proud to produce American made products and stands behind the integrity of those products.

Country Clipper

In 1984, Shivvers diversified the company's product offering and began the development of zero turn mowers.  Shivvers Manufacturing was one of the first manufacturers in the zero turn industry.  In the early years, Shivvers designed and produced zero turn mowers for other leaders in the industry.  By the late 1990's the Country Clipper division was created and the Country Clipper brand was introduced as the exclusive zero turn mower produced by Shivvers. Today, the Country Clipper brand features a broad lineup of zero turn mowers for residential, estate, and commercial applications, marketed through independent dealers throughout the United States and several foreign countries.  Learn more at countryclipper.com
