The heart of a Shivvers System, the core machine component controls grain flow throughout the drying process. Core machines can be purchased as a part of a complete Shivvers Performance System, or as an individual component and paired with a Shivvers Command Center® for use with existing equipment.
Core Machines are offered in two main designs: The Dri-Flo or Circu-Lator (Learn More). Each system design is available in 4 models to match your bin diameter & drying capacity needs.
Each core machine consists of the following components to facilitate even drying throughout the Counter-Flow process:
Through the incorporation of a center vertical auger, Circu-Lator Systems offer a unique set of capabilities by allowing both continuous-flow & batch drying operation.
As tapered sweep augers pull an even layer of dried grain toward the center of the bin, the Ciru-Lator uses a center vertical auger to move grain up vertically through the center of the drying bin.
Grain can then be continuously carried through the system’s transfer auger system to storage bins, or recirculated within the drying bin.
The Circu-Lator’s center vertical auger provides 3 distinct benefits:
Circu-Lator machines are available in 4 options, depending upon your operation's bin diameter & drying capacity needs.
Dri-Flo Systems unload dried grain through a horizontal unload auger located underneath the drying floor and do not feature a vertical unload auger.
Instead, tapered sweep augers pull an even layer of dried grain toward the Dri-Flo’s center bonnet. The center bonnet accurately meters grain into an underfloor auger for discharge outside of the bin.
The Dri-Flo System is perfect for the operator with an existing dry transfer system, looking for Shivvers Counter-Flow drying precision at maximized removal capacities. Dri-Flo machines are also available in 4 options, depending upon your operation's bin diameter & drying capacity needs.

"I haul grain for a living. I haul out of several Shivvers bins and to me the moisture they say they are is what it is. It's very consistent, bin after bin, year after year. I think it's a pretty good system."
"We have one 30 foot bin with a Shivvers unit in it, we’ve eliminated some other (dryers) in other bins and now just use them for storage, it blended in well with the existing set up that we had before."
"I'm half way through harvest now using the system, and it is doing everything pretty well they promised it would do, and it's keeping up with my demand to where this one system will take care of all my drying needs that I anticipate."
