Dri-Flo 500

Removal rates up to 500 bushels per hour

The Dri-Flo 500 offers a removal rate of up to 500 bushels per hour and transfers grain from the bottom of the bin.  The heavy duty bonnet with removable panels allows easy access to grease the center gearbox. Two tapered sweep augers bring grain through “metering ring” liners located under the bonnet. Fingers on these liners restrict grain flow so an even layer of grain is drawn off the floor without coning out in the center of the bin. The grain is then dropped into the basket where it is picked up by the horizontal unload auger and carried to an available Jumpster auger, air system, or elevator leg.

Machine Components

Choose between a 6” or 8” unload auger to move your dried grain from the unload basket located in the center of the bin to existing transfer equipment. Or, if you need greater grain handling flexibility (for 8” auger only) to load your grain to a truck or wagon for transport to market, or storage bin.

Two Tapered Sweep Augers

Two tapered sweep augers removes thin, even layers of of dry grain as they travel around the bin. The augers are constructed of a 1 1/4" diameter solid alloy steel shaft with 1/4" flighting.  The notched cast iron wheel of the tapered sweep auger travels on a wear track as it rotates around the bin, remaining on the floor at all times.

6" or 8" Horizontal Unload

The drying bin can be unloaded independently of the Circu-Lator through the built-in unloading system.  The horizontal discharge unit may be converted to vertical discharge with the addition of an 'add-on' vertical unloader.

Heavy Duty Gearbox

Rugged gearboxes are built for long years of durable service.  They are packed with moly grease, have oversize 1 1/4" stressproof shafts, hardened steel gears and tapered thrust bearings.  They are protected by three seals on every shaft opening and zerks are provided for directly lubricating each bearing. The weight of the center vertical auger is borne by a rugged cast iron spider wheel which transmits the load to thrust bearings.
