CONTROL ACCESSORIES
EZ Check
The EZ Check is a computer control that will show your grain moisture and temperature while it controls moisture content of dry grain into storage. It is a good economical computerized control.

Advantage
The EZ Check is extremely simple to operate and the lower cost makes it appealing to those that want the precision of the computer control.

Dial Thermometer
This long stem thermometer mounts with the probe into the plenum chamber to give an actual temperature reading of the plenum.

Advantage
Monitoring plenum temperature allow the dryer operator to confirm the plenum temperature.

Static Pressure Gauge
Used to measure back pressure in the plenum area of the bin.

Advantage
Depending upon which style of fan and heater you use to dry, static pressure is a real concern of the in-bin grain dryer. Knowing the static pressure in the plenum can tell the operator the grain depth that works to obtain the best quality, efficiency and capacity.

Sequence Timer
The use of the Sequence Timer allows you to customize the on times for multiple transfer augers. Starting the augers empty also puts less stress on the augers, motors and belts. (Use one Sequence Timer for each additional transfer auger used after the first one.)

Advantage
The use of the Sequence Timer allows you to run individual transfer augers only as long as necessary to empty them. Enhanced life is gained from augers that only run as long as needed and the operation is also quieter. Starting the augers imply also puts less stress on the augers, motors and belts.

Command Center Printer
The printer gives you a copy of all activities performed by the Command Center, such as grain moisture, grain temperature, plenum temperature, machine “on” times, date and clock, etc.

Advantage
Accuracy is the word today. You don’t want to hear about “almost” or “kind of close”, you want and need accuracy. The Command Center operates precisely, but you don’t have time to sit and watch the computer screen to know every move it makes. That is the advantage of the printer. It records all the Command Center activities, so you can evaluate them as you have the time. This will allow you to know how to make adjustments to “fine tune” your dryer.

SPREADING ACCESSORIES
Level Dry
This accessory is designed to maintain a completely level bed of grain in the drying bin. If you need maximum capacity from your Shivvers Performance System, take a close look at this option.

Advantage
Capacities are dramatically increased when grain is kept at a level depth, because air flows through the grain evenly. When operating a Level Dry in a fixed depth mode and using a wet holding tank ahead of the dryer, wet grain can be pulled in, as needed, to maintain a predetermined depth. A side benefit of the Level-Dry is less compaction of the grain as it is gently laid on the floor from the center to the outside which allows more air flow.

Grain Hog Spreader
The Grain Hog is a high capacity grain spreader that distributes the grain as it is added to the bin, to give a more even air flow throughout. Standard on all Shivvers Performance Systems, the Grain Hog has a 4,000 bushel per hour capacity.

Advantage
Built for really tough jobs, they have large bodies and a choice of either large or small pans, depending on your needs. They are all adjustable from the center fill hole using an extension wrench, and they come complete with motors. They come available in ½, 1 or 1 ½ HP motor with ranging bushels per hour of 3,200 to 5,000.

Controlled Flow Grain Spreader
Shivvers also offers the Controlled Flow Grain Spreader that truly spreads level because of its dual motor drive system. The dual motor drive has variable motor speeds that drive the spreader pan, while another motor drives the Diverter Valve. This diverter valve rotates as it fills the pan and can be stopped to fill in low areas that develop, sometimes caused by drying. If your need is to fill large diameter bins and keep your grain depth level for drying or cooling, this is for you.

Advantage
This spreader will handle a 10 to 13 inch diameter transport auger under really tough conditions. It is designed to spread grain level when other grain spreaders can’t get the job done! It’s special geometric spreader pan gently drops the grain kernals in a unique, even spiraling pattern just where they belong. This spreader has a capacity up to 6,000 BPH and is available for bins from 27 to 48 ft.

OTHER ACCESSORIES
Bin Stiffener
Bin reinforcement for standard duty or older grain bins.

Advantage
Installation of bin stiffeners will allow use of an existing bin that might otherwise need to be replaced to use as an In-Bin dryer.

Clean-Out Door
Provides an opening in the plenum area of the grain bin, to allow for blowing out of the fines that can collect under the drying floor.

Advantage
Keeping the plenum area clean allows for better air flow through the floor to dry the grain. Available in 12” & 15” to fit most plenums.

Vertical Unload
Commonly referred to as a truck auger.

Advantage
Tremendous advantage when unloading the drying bin into a truck. Eliminates the need for an auxiliary transport auger. Available in 6” and 8”. Also shown and available is a 4’ extension for loading those extra tall trucks.

Roof Vent
This accessory allows the drying air to be exhausted from the bin.

Advantage
During the drying process, a large volume of heated air is blown into and through the grain. As the moisture laden air exits the grain it moves upward in the bin towards the roof. Roof vents permit this wet air to exit the bin carrying the moisture away with it, to prevent moisture from condensing on the inside of the roof and dripping back into the top layer of grain.

Slide Gate Opener
A helping hand that gives you a lever to aid in opening the slide gate in the center basket to allow for unloading the bin.

Advantage
Less strain to open the slide gate with the extra weight of grain setting on it. Available in 6” and 8”

Intermediate Well
Additional gravity flow outlet for use on horizontal unloads.

Advantage
Additional outlets for the grain including the center well, speed up the bin unloading process on all Shivvers Circu-Lators and Dri-Flos’s. Available in 6” and 8.”

Auxiliary Sweep Auger
This sweep auger is a carry in unit that aids in cleaning out the bin after the angle of repose has been reached.

Advantage
Less time and strain shoveling to clean out the bin. For use with Circulator I and Circulator Jr’s ONLY.

Auxiliary Belt Idler
This device is specifically designed to give more wrap to the belts around the pulleys.

Advantage
More wrap on the pulleys means a better grip without slippage and easier starting of the Circu-Lator which translates into more efficient operation.
